"‘To rescue for human society the native values of rural life’: race, space, and whiteness in the University of California, Berkeley’s agricultural complex" is a new article by ISSI graduate student Rosalie Zdzienicka Fanshel in the journal Whiteness and Education. Fanshel analyzes Hilgard Hill at UC Berkeley, "addressing the ways white supremacy is literally constructed" and proposing possible alternatives.
