New Book on Language and Social Justice

Patricia Baquedano-López, faculty affiliate of the Center for Research on Social Change and member of ISSI’s Advisory Committee co-authored the book An Introduction to Language and Social Justice: What Is, What Has Been, and What Could Be, published by Routledge Press. The textbook uses the applied linguistic anthropology (ALA) framework to analyze the intersections of language, inequality, and social justice in North America.
