The second edition of the textbook Solving Latino Psychosocial and Health Problems, by Center for Research on Social Change affiliate Kurt Organista, was just published. Highlighting the salient social and cultural factors that affect psychosocial and health problems, Organista’s work provides thorough analysis of Latino experience while also proposing solutions to address social problems disproportionately affecting Latino populations. The textbook’s second release features two additional chapters covering the experiences of Central Americans and Dominican Americans and the role of Latino resistance and activism.
