Upsetting the (Schooling) Set Up

The journal cover for the International Journal of Qualitative Studies in Education.ISSI Graduate Fellow David Philoxene is a co-author of "Upsetting the (Schooling) set up: autoethnography as critical race methodology" in the International Journal of Qualitative Studies in Education. In this article, the authors use "generative autoethnography – a collective spin-story – to illustrate how their past personal experiences are present in their current educational lives," and aim to disrupt and transform the existing racial order through Critical Race Theory.
