Students Against K-12 Book Bans

Published in Berkeley News, this article features a project led by Pablo Gonzalez, ISSI Graduate Fellows Program Co-Director. The project, started in collaboration with Gonzalez’s Introduction to Chicano History students, provides elementary students with original narratives and illustrations through storybooks. The books center on Chicanx and Latinx stories that historically have been left out of American history books.
