Precarity and the Predatory Inclusion of Black Women

A new article by Caleb Dawson, ISSI Researcher, has been published in Critical Sociology about the predatory inclusion of Black women by for-profit colleges. Dawson draws on Black feminist Marxism to suggest that predatory inclusion depends on precarity as defined as a structural position of vulnerability to violence based on excess responsibilities and the denial of means to meet them.
