Published in the journal Sociological Inquiry, AARC faculty affiliate Eos Trinidad discusses changes in education and organizational theorizing since the 1950s. Trinidad’s article takes three perspectives, the structural, network, and ecological, to illustrate how student outcomes and inequalities are affected by formal organization of resources, informal interactions and interpretations, and school organization.
