Naniette Coleman, ISSI graduate student affiliate, is featured by the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Coleman is the executive director of the Coleman Research Lab/Interdisciplinary Research Group on Privacy which she founded in 2016. The lab has approached the task of raising tech-safety literacy and combating misinformation by helping undergraduates conduct research, produce and edit articles on topics involving cybersecurity, privacy, and surveillance in an effort to help the public protect themselves and navigate a world where misinformation and disinformation are increasingly common.
