The ISSI community is mourning the tragic death of Professor Emeritus Michael Burawoy, who was killed in a hit and run accident on February 3. Professor Burawoy was a long-standing affiliate of the Institute, a former member of our Faculty Advisory Committee, and a strong champion of our Graduate Fellows Program.
