Bristol was quoted in a KQED story, "Strategies for Retaining Teachers of Color and Making Schools More Equitable." 79% of teachers in the public school systems from 2017-2018 were white; Bristol explains how teacher preparation programs can help rectfiy this disparity by giving teachers of color the support they need given current curricula that favor white middle-class experiences.
