Group Medical Visits and Clinician Wellbeing

Ariana Thompson-Lastad, Assistant Professor of Family and Community Medicine, UC San Francisco, published a new study about the benefits of group medical visits among clinicians and health care teams. Thompson-Lastad, faculty affiliate of ISSI's Berkeley Center for Social Medicine, explains how group medical visits can be used to prevent burnout and improve retention among clinicians while providing new ways to improve patient care.
