Grandmothers on Guard

Grandmothers on Guard: Gender, Aging, and the Minutemen at the U.S.-Mexico Border is a new book by Jennifer Johnson, faculty affiliate of ISSI's Center for Right-Wing Studies. The book, which she wrote during her time as a visiting sholar at ISSI, tells the story of older women who found meaning and community in the Minutemen, an anti-immigrant vigilante movement.
