The Everyday Innovation of People with Disabilities in Spaces and Products

The lab examines how making tools, modifying existing ones, and reimagining environments in order to navigate spaces and use products not designed for them can be a part of daily life for people with disabilities. The members of the UC Berkeley Disability Lab showcase their latest projects and inventions that can improve accommodation issues people with disabilities face everyday, advocate for accessibility improvements, and address concerns of students on campus while maintaining affordability.
