Kelly Knight, faculty affiliate of the Berkeley Center for Social Medicine, is co-author of an article in International Journal of Drug Policy. "Saving lives in our homes: Qualitative evaluation of a tenant overdose response program in supportive, single-room occupancy (SRO) housing" reports on a promising intervention that trained tenants in permanent supportive SRO's in San Francisco to respond to overdoses. The innovative project included a team-based approach and compensation for the tenants who were trained.
