A new book co-authored by Patricia Baquedano-López, ISSI Advisory Committee member and faculty affiliate of Center for Research on Social Change, and Paul Garrett presents research on how "bilingual children engage with, negotiate, and transform their social worlds." On Becoming Bilingual: Children's Experiences across Homes, Schools, and Communities reviews foundational and recent studies that examine intersections of various social aspects and provides resources for study.
