AARC awarded grants to five UCB faculty members - Kazumi Hoshino, Andrew Leong, Nancy Liu, Cecilia Mo, and Poulomi Saha - and eight graduate students - Tu Moua Carroz, Claire Chun, Jessica Jiang, Jin Hyung Lim, Pa Vue, Derek Wu, Wangyuxuan Xu and Zhe Wu - from a variety of fields: Education, English, Ethnic Studies, Journalism, Public Health, Political Science, and Psychology. The projects include improving therapy for Asian Americans with mental health concerns, analyzing the role that Pacific Northwest Indigenous communities played in Chinese attempts to covertly enter the United States via Canada at the turn of the twentieth century, promoting Hmong language revitalization, and many more!
