A new study co-authored by Cristina Mora, a faculty affiliate of the Center for Research on Social Change, found that among Republicans in California, a significant share of Latinos, younger voters, and self-described political moderates, especially women, disagree with many of Trump’s immigration enforcement tactics. The study analyzes voter sentiment on various dimensions of immigration enforcement, showing where California Republicans most strongly diverge from the Trump administration’s current enforcement strategies.
