ISSI faculty affiliate and associate professor of Public Health Amani Nuru-Jeter is quoted in this NPR story “Scientists Start To Tease Out The Subtler Ways Racism Hurts Health.” She is working to understand how “the lived and social experience of race turn into racial differences in health.”
